David Shackelford

I’ve always been passionate about building things; from a shed construction business I started in middle school, to renovating my first real estate investment property at 19. I am energized by putting ideas into action and seeing tangible results.
As a consultant at Deloitte, I led day-to-day execution of multi-million dollar projects to improve operational efficiencies for clients spanning from retail, manufacturing, and financial services, to healthcare. My expertise is in developing and translating concepts on a whiteboard into bottom-line growth.
In addition to my operations background, I have worked for several private equity firms in various stages of a business transaction; from initial due diligence to transforming operations after the transaction closed. Through exposure to a number of deals, I’ve refined my approach to buying a company which includes minimizing disruption to you and your employees.
I earned my MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and my undergraduate degree in Math and Economics from the University of North Carolina. I live in Sandy, Utah with my wife, daughter, and two dogs and love spending time in the mountains skiing and biking.
